eBay and Amazon Store Launch For Australia’s Leading Bollard Manufacturer

Multi-channel Setup for SecureSpot & TheBollardCo.

Gone are the days of manually listing products on marketplaces like eBay and Amazon. Thanks to advanced tools and third-party multi-channel solutions, creating thousands of product listings is now a breeze with just a few clicks, provided you have a well-maintained product feed in your e-commerce store.

Our valued customer, a prominent bollard manufacturer in Australia, owns two widely recognized brands that cater to online customers as well as those who visit their retail outlets. They sought to maintain separate operations for each brand by establishing two individual websites using the reliable WooCommerce platform

we crafted a comprehensive marketplace launch strategy that encompassed every aspect, from initial account setup to product listing on both marketplaces.

Our Approach

Selecting the Right Solution:

Given that the customer’s websites were built on WooCommerce, we recommended Codisto Linq as a cloud-based solution that seamlessly connects their WooCommerce website with their marketplace accounts. This integration enables them to effortlessly create listings, automatically synchronize inventory, and manage orders directly from their website’s backend.

As a cloud-based solution, Codisto Linq supports major e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, and Bigcommerce. This ensures that if the customer decides to switch their website platform, their marketplace listings can be easily migrated without any data loss, providing a smooth integration regardless of the website platform chosen.

Preparing the Product Feed for eBay and Amazon :

Many new sellers overlook the crucial step of properly preparing the product attributes and data required to create accurate listings on eBay and Amazon. Each eBay and Amazon category has specific product attribute requirements that must be stored in the system to create listings on both platforms. Amazon, in particular, has strict data definition rules and guidelines that must be followed precisely.

Our data analysts thoroughly researched the essential product attributes, their proper formats, and accepted values. We also created additional attributes specifically for marketplace listing creation. This step ensures that the customer’s product data feed is future-ready for expansion into new marketplaces and enables us to process listings in bulk without any data errors. The data includes attributes for eBay item specifics, eBay categories, Amazon feature bullets, variation attributes, search terms, targeted audience, and Amazon description.

Integrating Branding into eBay and Amazon:

Merely having separate accounts is not enough to effectively represent two individual brands to buyers. To establish a distinct brand identity, it is essential to customize the storefront and listing templates for both brands.

We encouraged the customer to register both brands under Amazon Brand Registry so that their storefronts can be customized according to their respective website themes, and listings can be enhanced with A+ content.

For eBay, our designers created unique eBay listing templates for each brand, which were seamlessly integrated into Codisto Linq. This allows the customer to effortlessly create professional eBay listings without any additional effort.

Listing Creation:

After creating professional eBay templates and product feeds for both accounts, the final step was to establish the connection between WooCommerce and the marketplaces to begin listing products.

Our marketplace experts performed the necessary Codisto Linq configuration, including creating default settings for both eBay and Amazon, setting up selling templates for different categories, and configuring shipping profiles and other essential account management settings.

As a result, we were able to list products in bulk with just a few clicks on both eBay and Amazon. We also established a system that constantly synchronizes data between WooCommerce and the marketplace accounts. WooCommerce functions as the centralized data management and inventory system for all channels, and marketplace orders are imported into WooCommerce for processing.

Training & Support:

A multi-channel system is only valuable if customers can fully utilize it to manage their day-to-day e-commerce operations. At the conclusion of each project, we provide 1-on-1 training via Skype/TeamViewer to educate our customers on how to effectively manage the system on their own.

In this way, we not only provide a reliable solution but also ensure that our customers are equipped to efficiently handle listing and account management tasks.
