In this case study, we delve into the collaboration between eBay Ninja and COOLWATCH31.COM, a Japan-based business specializing in premium watches.

The project entailed the creation of a user-friendly and visually appealing e-commerce website from scratch. The objective was to establish COOLWATCH31 as a premium brand watch supplier offering competitive rates while prioritizing an enhanced user experience for buyers.

Our Approach

Design Objectives:

User-Friendly and Clean Design: The design aimed to provide a simple and clean layout that facilitates smooth navigation and ensures a positive user experience. Attention was given to creating an intuitive interface that enables visitors to easily explore the website and engage with the products.

Establishing Brand Reputation: The website design sought to position COOLWATCH31 as a trusted supplier of premium watches. Elements such as a section highlighting best sellers, an explanation of why customers should choose COOLWATCH31, and the inclusion of original brand logos were incorporated to enhance brand credibility.

Promotional Call to Action: To drive conversions, call-to-action promotional banners were strategically placed throughout the website. These banners effectively conveyed the value proposition of COOLWATCH31 and enticed visitors to explore the products and make a purchase.

Design Implementation:

Header and Footer Navigation: Recognizing the significance of header and footer links for website navigation, special attention was given to designing the above-the-fold section and footer. These sections provided comprehensive information and quick access to important pages, ensuring smooth browsing and building trust with customers.

Product Detail Pages: Given the nature of selling high-quality premium watches, the product detail pages were meticulously designed to showcase all relevant information. Features such as product attribute tables, original and retail prices, introductory videos, related product sections, and cross-selling sections were incorporated to provide buyers with comprehensive details necessary for making informed purchase decisions.

Efficient Use of Webpage Space: The design focused on optimizing webpage space to minimize bounce rates and increase engagement. By efficiently utilizing the available space, the design facilitated a seamless user journey, resulting in higher add-to-cart and buy-now event ratios.
